About the Founders

Professor Dr Gopal Saxena, B. Tech (IIT Delhi), MBA (IMD Switzerland), Ph.D. (NLSIU Bangalore):

Prof Dr Gopal Saxena is the Chairman and Managing Trustee of Sri Krishna Education Trust under which the The Shishya Jigyasa Academy has been set up. He is the Chairman of Shishya BEML Public School, one of the prominent schools of Bangalore. He has been associated with the education field for 25 years and is an expert in the field of general education, curriculum design & delivery, and education administration at the school and college level. He has been a senior professor of Business Management at the post graduate level. He also has had a very successful professional career in the technology and IT industry. Dr Saxena is the Founding Director of the Centre for Policy Research in Cyberspace, a think tank for cyber policy regulation, and Head of the Governing Board of Minerva Group of Institutions which owns and operates a group of colleges in Himachal Pradesh.

Mrs. Deepa Saxena, B.Sc., Post Graduate in Social Science:

Mrs. Deepa Saxena holds a Master’s Degree in Social Sciences and has been one of the founding Trustees of Sri Krishna Education Trust and member of the School Managing Committee since its inception. Being an expert in human resource management, she played a major role in the establishment and administration of Shishya BEML Public School especially in its early stages. In the past Mrs. Saxena has established and managed a training institute for computer skills and programming.

Mrs. Saxena is a member of the Governing Board of Minerva Group of Institutions.

Anuradha Chadha Diploma in Montessori Education (AMI), Diploma in Graphic Design (Delhi University) :

Anuradha Chadha is the Co-Founder and Principal of The Shishya Jigyasa Academy and is also Founder Principal of Jigyasa the School. She has spent more than 25 years in education — first as a teacher, and eventually rising up to the ranks of member of the senior management team at Dubai’s leading Indian school — GEMS Modern Academy. After returning from Dubai in 2013, she set up Jigyasa the School and is now on a mission to take The Shishya Jigyasa Academy to greater heights. She has gained numerous accolades for leading change at schools — so much so that her colleagues at GEMS Modern Academy still credit her with being the ‘change leader’ which resulted in the school getting an ‘Outstanding’ rating from the KHDA (Knowledge and Human Development Authority of Dubai). Anuradha is an accomplished artist and can often be found creating eye catching visuals using any medium. 

Ryan Chadha, BSc Accounting & Finance (Loughborough University), Master of Finance (University of Cambridge):

Ryan Chadha is Co-Founder and Director at The Shishya Jigyasa Academy. Most recently, Ryan spent 6.5 years helping teachers make incremental improvements to curriculum, teaching methodology and consequently learning outcomes at Jigyasa the School. Over the last 2 years, he has spent a large chunk of his time on developing a game changing math program called Dragnpi. This program is also being used at The Shishya Jigyasa Academy and has resulted in a significant increase in student enjoyment and learning in the sphere of mathematical thinking. Going forward, Ryan will drive the curriculum and teaching of math, coding and sport at The Shishya Jigyasa Academy. Although it isn’t common knowledge, Ryan often likes to remind people that he was an accomplished cricketer at one point in time, having played competitive cricket against the likes of Moeen Ali, Eoin Morgan, Liam Plunkett (who he hit for 3 fours in one over) and Paul Collingwood. 


Sri Krishna Education Trust is a charitable trust established in 1991 with the primary objective of imparting education. In the ensuing three decades of its existence it has set up nationally ranked institutions of learning in Karnataka and other parts of the country.
